Decoding & code retrieval

We can decode any make, model, or age of car radio. Most of the time, this can be done on a while-you-wait basis. The standard charge is £20.00+VAT this price includes removal & refitting of the units & code entry, we'll even tune it to your favourite station for you. Some units are time consuming to remove & some units are very tricky to decode. If this is the case then the price will alter. Obviously discount is given for repeat business & trade work. We do not decode radios that are obviously stolen. Mobile decoding is free to the trade but will be charged for non-trade customers from £5.00+VAT upwards depending where you live.

Radio repairs

There is a standard £10.00+VAT inspection charge for all units which is waved if the unit is not collected or if the repair is undertaken. If no code is supplied a £15.00 VAT charge is added to the repair bill. Most radios are repaired in house, however some will need to be sent away. A charge of £60+VAT is the standard charge for any units that need to be sent away. No repair will be undertaken for less than £35.00+VAT which is the minimum charge. In some circumstances we will loan the customer a set while theirs is in for repair. Units not collected within 3 months of repair will be sold to cover costs, no exeptions.

Car stereo, speaker, amplifier & associated product fitting

If you buy products else where we will still fit it for you. We can fit at our premises or for a call out charge of £25, we can come to your home or place of work.

Hands free kits

We may not always be the cheapest that's because we are the best! We always recommend fitting the kit in such a way that after removal there is no evidence of it ever being there with the use of damage free brackets & consoles, plug in mute kits & non drill aerials. Again if you buy elsewhere we'll still fit it for you & offer a mobile service.

Alarms

We only sell quality brands with good after sales service & warranties. The products we sell are Cobra, Clifford, Lazerline, Auto Watch & Avitel. We don't recommend fitting cheap alarms that are supplied by the customer but we will do it. We will not fit any second hand alarms at all!

Tracking

We supply & fit Tracking products inc. RAC Trackstar & Cobra as well as others.

Reversing Sensors & Parking Aids.

We supply & fit only high quality aids. Cheaper products cause false alarms & cause us trouble so we steer clear of them, All of our products are tried & tested & we offer a colour coded service so you don't have to worry about getting it done yourself.

Mobile entertainment & Multi-Media

We fit a Variety of systems to suit all manner of vehicle & mobile homes. All of the installation is carried out in-house including the fabrication of consoles & the cutting in of headrests, our aim is to make the installation look as good as it would have come from the factory.

Vehicle Satellite & Navigation

We supply and fit most major brands of vehicle Satellite Navigation inc. Becker & Smart Nav.

General Electrical Work

All of our fitters are qualified Auto Electricians so we will do some electrical work inc the fitting if interior lighting, accessories under body neon's & aftermarket lighting.

Fitting kit solutions

We carry a large comprehensive stock of fascias, wiring harness, aerials, adaptors, steering control adaptors & speaker adaptors.

Custom Installations

We can custom fabricate your ICE or multi media install to any standard you desire inc. fibreglass painted finishes, cloth or leather finishes. If you have any ideas run them past us & we'll be keen to give it a go.

Advice & Technical

We are more than willing to help with any problem you may encounter during the fitting of your equipment should you decide to fit it yourself. If you purchase the equipment off us then we will help as best as we can. If however you purchase else where try them first, if they aren't very helpful then you know to buy of us next time. We will try to help but do remember that we are not a charity & would appreciate the use of your common sense.

Mobile fitting

While not ideal we understand the convenience to our customers of having a mobile service. We will not sacrifice our usual high standards just to get the job done. If the vehicle requires a large job or a complex one then it can only be done in our workshop.

Trade Work

We carry out trade work in nearly all of the local reputable car dealerships both new & used sites. Most of this work is carried out on site by one of our mobile staff. Discount is given to trade customers to encourage repeat business, the same terms are given to regular customers who come back time & time again & also recommend us to their friends.

At Automotive Media, we install the majority of all the products we sell in-Store.

This is for a number of reasons. 

1.  We are renowned for the quality of our Installations. Not only do we operate a retail service, but we also do installations for car dealerships across South Wales , installing products into pre-delivery vehicles for car suppliers such as BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Bentley, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Ford, Land Rover and many more.

2.  We can offer a "While you Wait" service for many products, in store.  Or a mobile installer can come and install your product outside your home or work. We can often undertake your installation, whilst you wait, in our purpose workshops. 
Even if the products you need to have installed are a long process, then if you are buying In-Store, you get priority on the workshop for bookings. 

3.  We can undertake complex and custom installation work.  We are well known for our custom installation work, including fabrication and trimming. 

4.  We do offer an installation service for customers who have not purchased goods from us, but we offer a substantially reduced labour rate to customers who have purchased the products from us.

We also operate a guaranteed fixed price installation on goods purchased from us.  In reality this can equate to the installation being half the standard labour cost, if the goods are purchased from us.
